My name is Emily Praetorius aka aehmii.
Communication is a constant companion of our daily lives and this has prompted me to explore it in greater depth.
After completing my Studies and earning a Bachelor's degree in "Information, Media and Communication", I wanted to explore on of our most important communication tools: Voice
Whether it was in a creative way as voice-over artist and voice actress or as a narrator in my twitch Streams.
Or in supporting the implementation of website accessibility by providing the voice-over for people with visual impairments.
I was trained in Vocal training, Breathing Techniques and classical singing by the great teacher and opera singer Mag. Ronald Göd.
I received specialised training as a voice actress from the amazing teacher and Voice actress herself Mareike Tiede.
Using the body as a form of communication has always been a fascinating to me. Seemingly speaking "without words" and still being able to communicate everything.
Daher nutzte ich die Chance, mich mit verbaler Kommunikation zu beschäftigen. Durch die Teilnahme an der Ausbildung „ViK-visuelle Kommunikation“ konnte ich in der Österreichischen Gebärdensprache kommunizieren und diese in meiner Tätigkeit beim Österreichischen Gehörlosenbund, der Gebärdenwelt und dem WITAF noch weiter ausbauen und verfestigen.
